Full Bill Text
SB 575 would cut funding to health facilities that also perform elective abortions.
The bill asks the state to:
Refrain from allocating funds to an entity that considers an elective abortion to be a part of the continuum of health care for the purposes of family planning or comprehensive reproductive health services.
Under this law, state agencies would be prohibited from allocating federal or state funds to a facility that performs more than 120 abortions per year and that advertises outpatient abortion services.
