HR 135 is a resolution condemning the passage of the “Reproductive Health Act” by the New York State Assembly.
The resolution claims the RHA:
[…]allows the performance of an abortion with an undefined and subjective exception concerning the health of the mother that will allow the late-term abortion of unborn children.
The resolution further:
[…]condemns the passage of any legislation which undermines the sanctity of life and allows for the abortion of unborn children that are capable of feeling pain.
The resolution is in response to the state of New York enacting the “Reproductive Health Act,” which removed abortion from the state’s criminal code and codified Roe v. Wade into New York State law.
