HB 482 would require women getting an abortion to be offered a list of certified adoptive home parents and an accompanying informational video prior to the procedure.
The bill would amend current law regarding informed consent to include the requirement that an abortion provider offer a list of adoptive certified home parents to a woman seeking an abortion at least 24 hours prior to the procedure.
In addition, the abortion provider would be required to show the woman a video of approved certified adoptive parents.
