Full Bill Text
SB 47 amends previous legislation to require periodic reporting of public health statistics relating to drug-addicted or dependent newborns. Any practitioner that delivered and suspected or screened for substance abuse in the mother or baby, must report it to the Kentucky Department of Health.
STATUS
Passed the House 37-0. Was sent to the Senate where it also passed 99-0. SB 47 was signed by the Governor on April 7, 2014.
