SB 83 would amend current informed consent requirements for patients seeking abortion services in Kansas to include information regarding the physician who would be performing the abortion.
The bill would require the following information regarding the physician to be disclosed to the patient prior to an abortion:
The above information would need to be provided on white paper in a printed format in black ink with 12-point Times New Roman font.
Related Legislation
The original bill would have amended current law regarding propane safety. While in the house, the text regarding propane tank regulation was stripped and replaced with language from HB 2319/SB 98.
