Indiana Abortion Ban (HB 1089)

House Bill 1089 repeals language in Indiana law that permits abortion, such as removing language defining “abortion clinics.”
The bill further states that the federal government does not have jurisdiction to regulate abortions in the state and that federal officials who attempt to enforce court orders to the contrary “shall be subject to arrest by Indiana law enforcement”
The bill would face immediate legal challenges if it passed.
