House Resolution 24 urges the department of health to require that medical care professionals provide information on prenatal screening and testing for down syndrome to all pregnant women.
HR 24 further urges the department of health to collect information on the number of fetuses diagnosed with Down syndrome that are aborted and those that are carried to term and to report to the Legislature the number of pregnancies, since 2010 or when data is available, terminated due to the fetus being diagnosed with Down syndrome and those that are carried to term.
