Full Bill Text
HB 1099 would require each higher education institution that receives funding from the state to file a verified report each year with the joint budget committee stating whether or not the institution engaged, directly or indirectly, in the purchase or trafficking of aborted human body parts.
If such an institution affirms that they engaged, directly or indirectly, in the purchase of trafficking of aborted human body parts, the general assembly would be prohibited from appropriating any money to that institution.
