Alabama Resolution Recognizing the Contributions of Pregnancy Care Centers (SR 59)
This law was last updated on Jan 4, 2019
SR 59 is a senate resolution recognizing the “many contributions” made by pregnancy care networks (crisis pregnancy centers).
The resolution encourages Congress and other federal and state governmental agencies to grant pregnancy care center assistance for medical equipment and sexual risk avoidance/abstinence education in a manner that does not compromise the mission or religious integrity of these organizations.
CPCs have come under increased scrutiny over the last several years, as investigations have revealed that centers across the country have provided inaccurate information and neglected to follow proper medical protocols. (Source.)
