New Zealand born Indian Vanisa Dhiru is the president of the National Council of Women New Zealand (NCWNZ), an umbrella group leading the Gender Equal NZ campaign. Dhiru has been in chief executive roles in the NGO sector, including CEO of Volunteering New Zealand and executive director of the 20/20 Trust. Her wide community involvement has secured her a place in the BMW Foundation Responsible Leaders Global Network. She is passionate about equality, developing young people, and cultural relations.
