Jim Winkler has led the United Methodist Church’s General Board of Church and Society (GBCS), which is a member of the Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice (RCRC), since November 2000. The GBCS is the church’s international public policy and social justice agency and a leading denominational advocacy agency on Capitol Hill.
