Heather Sayette, MPH, is an associate regional director with the Latin America office of Planned Parenthood Global, the international arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America. Heather joined Planned Parenthood Global in 2001 and leads the division’s Ecuador program working to improve access to sexual and reproductive health services and information. Heather began working in the field of women’s rights as a rape crisis counselor in Utah. Her passion for Latin America and women’s rights were solidified while living in Paraguay, where women and girls receive limited information about reproductive health. Heather holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology, certificate in Psychology and Masters in Public Health.
