Alison Macklin
Alison Macklin, MSW, is an award-winning, national leader in the comprehensive sex education field for 17 years. She is a senior Policy Advisor with SIECUS: Sex Education for Social Change, where she provides guidance to national partners regarding the implementation of comprehensive sex education legislation and policy. She is the internationally published author of Making Sense of It: A Guide to Sex for Teens (and Their Parents Too!), owns her own consulting firm: Making Sense of It Consulting, is married with two children, and lives in Denver, Colorado and is a member of the Sex Education Collaborative.
