Lauren Suchman is a PhD student in the Department of Anthropology at the Graduate Center of the City University of New York (CUNY). Lauren is also a Graduate Teaching Fellow at Lehman College, CUNY, where she teaches the anthropology of gender and medical anthropology. Since 2005, Lauren has worked with The ATHENA Network, a global network that promotes gender equality in the HIV response, and she has been a member of the ATHENA Steering Committee since 2012.
