Lara Witt is a Desi-Kenyan writer and feminist activist who focuses on highlighting the voices of women of color by exploring the intersections of racism and sexism. Witt uses social media platforms to critique pop culture and current events through a feminist lens and raises awareness about living with PTSD as a sexual assault survivor. After graduating from Temple University with a BA in journalism, she began writing freelance to establish her voice. Her pieces have been published in BUST, Blavity, Guerrilla Feminism and the Philadelphia Daily News.
