Jessica Skolnik grew up in and around Washington, DC, and currently lives in Chicago. Jessica is 33, a labor union staffer, community organizer, musician and writer who writes a monthly column for Maximum Rocknroll, among other pieces. Jessica works with other survivors in small community groups to create a supportive environment in which we can heal without judgment or shame. Jessica is an activist with UltraViolet, a community fighting for gender equality and against sexism in politics, the media, government, and pop culture.
