Dr. Rhea Boyd

Dr. Rhea W. Boyd, MD, FAAP, is a pediatrician, medical educator, and community health advocate in the Bay Area. She is currently a Commonwealth Fund Mongan Minority Health Policy Fellow at Harvard’s School of Public Health. She recently worked at Palo Alto Medical Foundation and UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland, and she has taught structural inequality and health at Stanford University’s Pediatric Residency Program. She currently serves on the board of the Women’s Community Clinic in San Francisco, a clinic providing reproductive and primary care to uninsured and low-income women in the Bay Area. She is passionate about the intersections of clinical medicine, social justice, and technology, and she has worked to address social inequities as a means to improving child and community health.
