Amanda Heffernan

Amanda Heffernan is a practicing nurse-midwife, educator, researcher and PhD student. She studies and writes about the intersection of migration and reproductive justice. She recently moved back to the Pacific Northwest after spending a decade in the Southwest working in tribal and community health, including 4 years in the borderlands in Tucson.
