Dr. Ali Stine was an associate editor for Rewire.News, where she oversaw coverage of the central Appalachian region.
Previously, Ali was a communications fellow at the Center for Community Change. Her work has appeared in the Guardian, the Nation, Talk Poverty, GOOD, on Bill Moyers, on CNN, and elsewhere. She holds a PhD from Ohio University and is the recipient of numerous awards, including the National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship, the Ohio Arts Council Grant, Honorable Mention for NYU School of Journalism’s Power Award for Literary Journalism, and more.
