Stop HHS Regulations: Sign the Petition!

President Bush's provider conscience expansion is set to go into effect January 18, but the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association has launched a petition to block the new regulation.

President Bush’s expansion of health care workers’ right to refuse to provide medical care is set to go into effect January 18, but the National Family Planning and Reproductive Health Association has launched a petition to block the new regulation.

"In a country where nearly 47 million people are uninsured, the outgoing
Bush Administration should not be actively working to make health care
even less accessible," NFPRA points out.  The petition also draws attention to the state laws guaranteeing access to health care, such as emergency contraception for rape survivors, that will be undermined by this regulation.
