The Washington Post reported on the health ministry's plan to install condom vending machines in schools in Brazil.

Cara from Reproductive Rights Blog has an old post about a spray-on liquid condom introduced in China (from 2005, but still interesting — and still not available in the U.S.). Time's Global Health Update reported recently that Utah researchers are working on a liquid condom, though it sounds more like a microbicide.

Don't believe the hype that condoms don't work — they are an effective way to prevent pregnancy and infection.
