Bizarre Anti-Abortion Campaign Says Don’t Abort Because It Makes Toys Sad
Won't someone please think of the toy soldiers?
Ad Week has caught what could only be described as one of the weirdest anti-abortion campaigns ever — a billboard declaring that Christmas toys are sad because there aren’t enough children to play with them this year.
Toronto’s Niagara Region Right to Life organization blames abortion for the “coarsening of politics and civic life,” but they’re the ones guilt-tripping people with sad-toy-themed billboards a week before Christmas. If this is the only alternative to all the inappropriately sexual Christmas ads I’ve been seeing, then bring on the smut.
Nothing breaks a person’s heart like a crying toy soldier.
